Importing blank lines in Items Sales Order/Invoice

Is there a way to import blank lines between lines of items in Items Sales of orders or invoices? Right now I would have to go into MYOB AccountRight Live, open the imported order/invoice and add the blank lines manually between the items using MYOB command.

Thank you.

If you are using Classic MYOB (version 19.13 or earlier) then it is not possible as the MYOB ODBC does not provide for it.

If you are using AR Live then you can import heading lines. You need a column in your data for LineType which can be blank for normal lines but should contain H on heading lines. You can also insert subtotal lines by putting S in that column. In both cases whatever is mapped to description is used. For a blank line leave the description blank.

What catches a lot of users out is that if the header line is before the first item details line then it is the first line of the sale and therefore needs to have the sale level (non-item specific) data such as customer and date or TransPost will assume it belongs to the previous sale or is a separate one, invalid if customer is missing.

All that non-item data must be on the FIRST line, even if it is a heading. TransPost needs to get it before it starts processing line data, whether it is headings or line items. It must then be blank or the same for the remainder of the invoice. A change will cause TransPost to conclude that it has found the start of the next invoice.
