Insufficient item quantity

Post by TransPost Support » Sun 22 Mar, 2015 2:53 pm

The following error messages indicate that you have tried to import a sales invoice selling a quantity of an item which is inventoried, and AccountRight is reporting back that you have insufficient uncommitted stock for the sale:
  • AccountRight error: InsufficientItemQuantity: 25002 - Insufficient item quantity to complete transaction
  • MYOB transaction failed: [MYOB ODBC] - Insufficient quantity at Location specified
To address this issue you can do one of the following:
  • Reprocess the sale as an order rather than an Invoice by setting Sale Status to ‘O’. You can set that as a default in your mapping. When stock is available, use AccountRight directly to change the Order to an Invoice
  • Reprocess the import once stock is available
Note that if the sale was in an import file also containing sales which were successfully processed, the data for the failed imports will have been separated into an Unprocessed Data file, so you can reimport just the failed sales later.

This message can also be caused by errors in the mapping of columns for Item Number and Quantity.
