Re: sale people doesn't import

This is an AccountRight restriction. The salesperson references an Employee Card. It used to be that you could only select from existing employee cards in AccountRight input too. The "Easy Add" option actually adds the name to your Employee Cards which is a separate behind the scenes transaction. Sp...

Re: Error Message "Encountered a communication error"

Hi Didem, The problem is in the AccountRight API server. The MYOB API support team have been working on this problem since early August. They claimed to have resolved it on 21/8/20 and most users have reported an improvement since then but I get the impression that the problem may not be totally sol...

Re: Importing Header and Subtotal Lines

If the header line is before the first item details line then it is the first line of the sale and therefore needs to have the sale level (non-item specific) data such as customer and date or TransPost will assume it belongs to the previous sale or is a separate one, invalid if customer is missing. ...

Re: Importing blank lines in Items Sales Order/Invoice

What catches a lot of users out is that if the header line is before the first item details line then it is the first line of the sale and therefore needs to have the sale level (non-item specific) data such as customer and date or TransPost will assume it belongs to the previous sale or is a separa...

Re: Bulk Customer Payments

TransPost tries quite hard to avoid importing duplicates of transactions as they can be onerous to delete, particularly after a bulk import. Sometimes it means that errors are raised when a transaction should have been processed but at least that can be rectified manually. In the case of customer pa...

Re: Error with Item number imports on Purchases

If an Item is marked "I Buy This Item" but not "I Sell This Item" TransPost Plus and TransPost Premier would incorrectly reject the item as if not allowed to be bought.

This problem is fixed for both TransPost Plus and TransPost Premier in version 3.3.6, released last week.

Re: MYOB ODBC and (exclusive?) file locking

The automatic move process will rename a file by adding a string representing date and time to the file name if it is the same as a previously moved file.

Re: Transpost Import

Hi Lauren, It is quite hard to tell why things did not work without seeing the relevant log file. It can also to look at the mapping and a sample of the data that caused the issue. If you could send these files to support@transpost.com.au we can review them to see if we can spot the cause of the iss...

Re: 2018.3 New MYOB Accountright Version import

If you want to import data containing currency codes and exchange rates via TransPost you should stick with Classic MYOB and wait until MYOB have added them to the API as inputs. So far they have added the odd output field for currency but no details have been published for API fields enabling impor...

Re: "Customer Not Found" but only when they are individuals.

It used to be, with classic MYOB, cards had a CoLastName field and a FirstName field. They were deemed to be individuals if they had first names and not if not. Now there is also an additional field to indicate if a customer is an individual. The AccountRight Live API comes with separate CompanyName...
