Re: Error with Item number imports on Purchases

If an Item is marked "I Buy This Item" but not "I Sell This Item" TransPost Plus and TransPost Premier would incorrectly reject the item as if not allowed to be bought.

This problem is fixed for both TransPost Plus and TransPost Premier in version 3.3.6, released last week.

Re: MYOB ODBC and (exclusive?) file locking

The automatic move process will rename a file by adding a string representing date and time to the file name if it is the same as a previously moved file.

Re: Transpost Import

Hi Lauren, It is quite hard to tell why things did not work without seeing the relevant log file. It can also to look at the mapping and a sample of the data that caused the issue. If you could send these files to support@transpost.com.au we can review them to see if we can spot the cause of the iss...

Re: 2018.3 New MYOB Accountright Version import

If you want to import data containing currency codes and exchange rates via TransPost you should stick with Classic MYOB and wait until MYOB have added them to the API as inputs. So far they have added the odd output field for currency but no details have been published for API fields enabling impor...

Re: "Customer Not Found" but only when they are individuals.

It used to be, with classic MYOB, cards had a CoLastName field and a FirstName field. They were deemed to be individuals if they had first names and not if not. Now there is also an additional field to indicate if a customer is an individual. The AccountRight Live API comes with separate CompanyName...

Re: 'matching record found' errors

Without seeing both the mapping and the data it is hard to say. The number after warning comes from the column selected as Log field. If that column is not mapped to a MYOB field then it will not get into MYOB. The Log field should whatever will identify each sale for you in the log. It is usually a...

Re: Error with customer payment imports

The error message "Data on payment line n does not identify an open sale" generally means one of two things: No sale matching all the data provided could be found. The data provided can be any of: Customer (identified by name or Card ID) Invoice number, which if numeric may or may not be zero-padded...

Re: Duplicate Invoices

At present TransPost does not 'overwrite' i.e. modify or replace, it only inserts so the only question is whether to insert or not. If we had not implemented any duplicate checking logic you would get duplicates every time you resubmit. As it is, for most users, if a file is accidentally submitted t...

Re: 2018.3 New MYOB Accountright Version import

TransPost has always provided for currencies for the old Classic MYOB ODBC version. All the code is in place except that the API for AccountRight provides nowhere to put currency data so we cannot implement it. Despite the recent changes, the API documentation as published by MYOB still does not pro...

Re: Schedule time

The design intention was that scheduled start time should work so that if you scheduled a 24 hour cycle starting at say 2am then it would run daily at 2am. We did not get it right so it does not work but the intention is to fix it at some stage. Because nobody complained it has not had a high priori...
