  • Currency Codes

    • Some selling management systems such as eBay's specify currency within Amounts. Transpost will now remove Australian and New Zealand currency codes (AU, AUD, NZ, NZD) from these fields.

    If currency is not set in the TransPost Currency field amounts in these currencies will be recorded in MYOB's default currency. Other currency codes will remain and will cause errors.

     

  • Tabs and Carriage Returns

    • Transpost will now replace tabs and carriage returns with a single space.

    Known Issues

    There is still a problem with including items with Time Billing Sales when MYOB has the "I Include Items on Time Billing Invoices" option selected.

    Items are not recognised and the Freight and Ship via fields are not accepted by MYOB despite being specified in the MYOB ODBC table documentation. This last appears to be a restriction within MYOB ODBC.

    This is a Beta test version supplied as is. We are looking for feedback. We do not claim they work perfectly but there are a number of satisfied clients who are already using TransPost to transfer their data into MYOB quite successfully.

    Backup your Files!!!

    Cadro urges you to make backups of your MYOB file before using a new version of TransPost and for each new mapping that you create. Be sure you have got the set-up correct and check the results carefully, particularly until you have satisfied yourself that mappings are consistently working correctly.

    Activation

    To use TransPost with your MYOB Company file you will need an activation key.  Note that your activation key is specific to your MYOB serial number. It will not work with a different serial number.

  • Windows 7 Issues

    • This version addresses issues with installation on Windows 7 and introduces an on-line registration process, so that Activation keys can be supplied on line.

  • TaxExAmount/TaxIncAmount Conflict

    • Also since MYOB produces unpredictable effects when there is a conflict of even just $.01 between the Tax Exclusive value plus GST and the Tax Inclusive value, this release will log inconsistent values as an error, rather than letting this happen.
